The decentralized artificial intelligence swarm network has raised a total of $ 13 million to build an AI verification protocol.
According to an announcement of Wednesday shared with Cintelelegraph, $ 10 million from the funded funds were obtained through the protocol licenses to operate agents. A project spokesperson told Cintelelegraph that each license is a non-bubble token (NFT) which allows its holder to obtain daily rewards for operating officers and maintain the network.
The remaining funds include a strategic investment of $ 3 million in investors, notably SU (SUI), Ghaf Capital, Brinc, Y2z and Zerostage. The investments of Sui, Ghaf and Brinc were guaranteed by the participation of Swarm in the global accelerator based in Dubai in Suibai.
Swarm Network builds a decentralized protocol that tries to transform data outside the chain into verifiable onchain information. The system has experienced an early adopter in the fact verification of the facts fueled by AI Rollup News, where 128,000 users have checked more than 3 million positions to date.

The rise of Crypto AI agents
AI agents, a term referring to AI robots which have access to tools and can act independently to achieve their objectives, gain a significant traction in cryptographic space. Earlier this month, members of the Coinbase development team, Kevin Leffew and Lincoln Murr, went so far as to say that AI agents could become the “greatest power user” in Ethereum.
Declarations followed anticipation after the end of 2024, when industry leaders told Cintelelegraph that AI agents would win significant traction this year. Forecasts at the time understood that these agents would assume a more important role within decentralized communities and that decentralization would make AI more reliable.
